Still wondering why Rayman Legends ended up being ported to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360? Well here’s a rumor that may answer that burning question.
According to Gamekult, an online gaming publication, Ubisoft was unable to come to terms with Nintendo regarding the distribution and publishing of Rayman Legends. The disagreement on said terms eventually caused Ubisoft to bring the game to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 instead.
However on being asked if the news was true or not, both Ubisoft and Rayman’s creator Michel Ancel said it was false.
Earlier this month, Ubisoft revealed that they would be delaying the release of Rayman Legends which was close to its release on the Wii U. Additionally the game will be ported to the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well, ultimately losing its exclusivity flag for Nintendo. Rayman Legends is now set for a release after September of this year for all three platforms.
