MMultiplayer gaming isn’t very forgiving to newbies who look to make a place for themselves in the harsh community, especially if it’s ridiculously popular MMOs like Dota 2 or League of Legends.
Thankfully, Valve is aware enough of this, and is continuing its guide subscribing scheme in Steam. But things go beyond just the conventional tips and tricks when it comes to these specialized guides for Dota 2.
Called the Hero Builds, the subscribable character guides overly in your game to give you a real-time lesson for the related hero, what you should pick for him/her, and what abilities you must use. Of course, it doesn’t just end there; like any comprehensive build guide, they also suggest various strategies and tactics to give you enough knowledge to stand a while longer than you would otherwise.
For those of you who want to share their experience, Hero Builds can be created from the Dota 2 website. You can also browse created builds there. The builds can be overlaid in-game with a new option called the Hero Build Panel.
We’re hoping to see a formal rating system for the builds, so the newbies can easily find the top suggested guides to get them somewhere in a position better than the former newbies.
