Sony held its PS4 reveal event just yesterday. Although the event’s spotlight was the console itself (keep in mind that the console was not physically revealed only detailed and multiple game demos running on it were shown) there were several other interesting tidbits that popped up during the course of the game.
Particularly, an app was introduced that turns your iPhones, iPads and Androids into second screen for PS4. One utility of this app can be using the smaller screens of android and devices as an in-game map while you play an open world RPG on your giant television. Isn’t that neat? The app will also be made available on the Windows phones.
PS4 is set to launch in the holiday season of this year. The launch line-up includes titles like Destiny, Infamous and Watch Dogs among others.
