Another Clue Revealed for Murdered: Soul Suspect
In my story last week, I talked about a new and mysterious game from Square-Enix titled Murdered: Soul Suspect.
The details were scarce and the website wasn’t much help, save for some interesting pictures and various “clues” we were supposed to solve.
Well, today the mystery gets deeper as a tweet from the game’s twitter account mentioned “Evidence: Salem MA USA.” If you take that information and hop over to the game’s website and enter “salemmausa” into the login prompt here, you’ll get an MP3 with the what sounds like breaking glass and a loud thump.
This matches up with the teaser image we received last time, which depicted a man lying in the street with shards of glass around him.
Speculation has become even more rampant as to what this new clue could mean, with fans guessing the game could have something to do with the Salem Witch trials that took place in Salem in 1692. There still isn’t any new information about the game itself, just that it’s still set to be released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and that it will have players solving “possibly the hardest case of all.”
What do you guys think of this new information? Any theories, fellow sleuths?
