Come February 17, Bungie will be officially revealing information about their tight-lipped game, Destiny. Bungie will be using Facebook as the medium in which they’ll be revealing their information, so be sure to check their Facebook page on the 17th.
While Destiny has certainly been tight lipped, there was a legal document leak, detailing information about the game.
According to the document, Destiny will be a “fun and accessible” shooter that will play as a “massively-multiplayer-style,” game with “client based mission structures with persistent elements.” The document also described the game as being “deep, tangible and relatable as that of the Star Wars franchise.”
The game is reported to be headed for a fall 2013 release for the Xbox 360 and 720. Sequels to this game will eventually see their way to the PS4 and PC.
There are also plans for four downloadable expansion packs, which will be released in between the years of major installations of the series. This thing is going to be big.
