The latest issue of CoroCoro magazine has revealed the new Pokémon Rumble U game will be coming to the Japanese Wii U eShop in the coming months.
Pokémon Scramble U, as it’s dubbed in Japan is set to launch this spring via Japan’s Wii U shop. This entry in the series follows up to the 2009 WiiWare game that was also Japan-exclusive for a few months, which indicates that this new game might also make its way to Western audiences eventually.
The game is set to include all known Pokémon at this time, which is a staggering 649 of them. More impressive is that up to 100 of them are able to brawl against each other at any one time, and with the four player support returning we can expect to see some pretty hectic battles.
If Pokémon Rumble U does see a Western release, it’s imagined that it should see our shores sometime before the release of Pokémon X/Y which will be releasing worldwide this October. After all, X and Y will be introducing even more new pocket monsters and it’d be a shame if they released Rumble U after their reveal.
