Those of us who didn’t buy the iPhone 5 in 2012 might have a chance to one-up their friends who keep throwing their renewed two-year contract iPhone 5S in their faces. Rumor has it that not one, but two new iPhones will hit the market in 2013.
Let’s talk about the first version — the iPhone 5S. While just a rumor, it’s been established that Apple releases a new version of its iDevices consistently every year, so the 5S is almost a given. Chinese tech website Gizchina, however, reported the alleged photos of the device from the assembly line. Also spotted: the iPhone 6.
The pictures show that the iPhone 5S is identical at least in form to the iPhone 5, but the iPhone 6 is lighter, slimmer and with a bigger screen. This is still just a rumor at this point, so we’ll have to wait for a little while longer to see what Apple has got up its sleeves.
