Blizzard has announced that the public beta for StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm will end on March 1st. However, the private beta testing will stay live until the game is officially released.
According to the post made on Battle.net, the game is going to be a major part of eSports in the days to come. Blizzard specially mentioned themselves working closely with eSports and ensured that the game will be featured in professional tournaments in March 1.
“We’re incredibly thankful for the feedback and data our testers have produced throughout the beta, and we hope that all testers continue to practice, prepare and pursue XP levels in the beta through the end of February,” reads the post.
StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is confirmed for a release on March 12 for the PC and Mac and is the second installment in a three-part series. The latest entry will follow the Zergs and will introduce new units, multiplayer and a brand-new campaign.
