If you were a fan of Killer 7 and No More Heroes then I’ve got some good news for you. Grasshopper Manufacture, the people behind the recent Lollipop Chainsaw have announced that their upcoming title, Killer is Dead is getting a worldwide release.
The publisher XSEED is responsible for bringing the game to the US on Xbox 360 and PS3 this summer, while Deep Silver is worked to get the game released in UK.
The reason that I bring up Killer 7 and no More Heroes is because the game is a spiritual successor to those games in a number of ways. The main character is an assassin, he uses a sword and his left arm is a cybernetic arm that can turn into anything from a drill to a gun. Both of those games were excellent and I hope that Suda 51 can bring the magic once more for Killer is Dead.
In related news, the publisher XSEED is also bringing in the Nintendo 3DS RPG Rune Factory 4. A pair of PlayStation Vita titles will follow in the fall: Valhalla Knights 3 and Ys: Memories of Celceta. After that we have Ys I & II Chronicles, an enhanced remake of the first two games in the series that is set to hit PCs sometime in February.
