Temple Run 2 Finally Lands on Android

Well, it happened sooner than everyone thought. Temple Run 2 is now available for Android devices and can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play Market or Amazon Appstore.

Sequel to the popular original title from Imangi Studios, Temple Run 2 was initially released for iOS last week and instantly reached 20 million downloads in just four days.

Thankfully, this time around, users had to just wait a week to get the game on their Android phones. Back when the original Temple Run was released for iOS, it took around six months for the developer to bring the game to Android.

Temple Run 2 reached the second spot in Apple’s app store’s top-grossing apps chart last week. The original game on iOS went for 99 cents when it launched, but quickly switched to a free-to-play model that greatly increased its revenue.
