In Splinter Cell: Blacklist you’ll be able to catch more than a few glimpses of the game’s developers lending their appearances. In a recent interview with Official PlayStation Magazine UK, creative director Maxime Beland discussed the motion capture technology that enabled them to put themselves in the game.
“We have for Splinter Cell: Blacklist all-new performance capture opportunities,” said Beland. “This means that the player will encounter some familiar faces who have worked on the game. If you look closely, you’ll even see me.”
The motion-capture technology used by Beland’s team is an evolution of motion-capture that allows for not only entire body movement, but minute facial details as well.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist comes out August 22 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
