DmC: Devil May Cry Debuts at Number One on UK charts
Ninja Theory’s reboot Devil May Cry has made its debut by reaching the top spot on UK’s sales chart. Consider it a very bizarre situation for Capcom.
Even though the game managed to come out on top, Devil May Cry still just sold over a third of what the previous Devil May Cry 4 did when it reached the number one spot back in 2008. However, looking back at the flak Capcom received over the new changes in the reboot, I would say that both the publisher and developer should pat each other on the back.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has finally been dethroned following a 6 straight week dominance back in 2012. The game shifts to number three while FIFA 13 takes the second spot.
The following are the top 10 games for the week ending on January 19.
- DmC: Devil May Cry
- FIFA 13
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- Far Cry 3
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted
- Just Dance 4
- Football Manager 2013
- Hitman Absolution
- Assassin’s Creed 3
