The latest news regarding the new Tomb Raider from Crystal Dynamics is that the game will feature no demo prior to its launch. The developer also added that nor there will be an online or Season Pass.
Karl Stewart, global brand director of Tomb Raider posted on Twitter that a demo would “spoil the story” and they won’t have none of that. He backed that up by adding: “We’ve weaved such an personal story we don’t believe spoiling it by having you wait a week or so to play on, delivers on our promise.”
Last year Crystal Dynamics confirmed that Tomb Raider would be including multiplayer for the first time in the series. Hence, it comes as a surprise that a developer won’t announce an online or Season pass for their title.
Tomb Raider releases on March 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. A release date for the PC version is still pending.
