A couple of days ago, we reported that Nintendo managed to sell 400,000 units of Wii U on Black Friday. Microsoft has totally demolished this record by selling 750,000 units of Xbox 360. There can be no doubt that Nintendo’s sales were hindered due to the non availability of supply but one simply cannot deny that Xbox 360 outsold the Wii U by a long margin.
Keep in mind that Nintendo’s other consoles like the Wii, 3DS, DS sold 300,000, 250,000 and 275,000 units respectively. However, Nintendo will surely be disappointed by the lack of sales for its latest console.
No details have been given regarding how Playstation performed on this Black Friday yet. We shall have them, as soon as they are out to make a full 3-way comparison.
