GTA 5: PC Version Petition Earns Over 52,000 Signatures
Grand Theft Auto is one game which thrives on the PC, enabling modders to go wild and the community to play a fabulous open world game on their high-end rigs. It’s understandable that PC fans began to worry a little about the game not releasing on their platform at all.
Hence a fan of the series, Mike Julliard started a petition to show Rockstar how many people want to see GTA 5 on the PC. At the time of writing the petition has gained over 52,000 signatures and needs around 48,000 more to reach the said goal.
Here’s the petition:
To: Rockstar Games,
Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.
I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!
Personally I doubt that Rockstar would rule out a PC release. Like always we folks would get a port later in the year after the release of the console versions. Dan Houser, VP of Rockstar stated earlier this month that the game on PC and Wii U were up for consideration.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is scheduled for release in Autumn of 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
