Something went haywire recently with the leaderboard stats of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The issue caused all the stats on the board to reset, resulting in (perhaps) loss of data and millions of angry players.
Treyarch has confirmed that they are working steadily to find a fix for the problem.
Mind you the gameplay hours, kill/death and win/loss ratios are still displayed in the combat records of players. However, these do not reflect in the leaderboard stats.
Call of Duty is all about the rights of players to brag. Responding to affected players, Treyarch said on Twitter:
Since this morning’s backend update, we’ve been made aware of leaderboard issues that some are having – we’re looking into it, stand by.
Currently working through server side issues re leaderboards…they’ll be re-enabled as soon as we’ve fixed the issue…stand by.
