Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 may have lost its chance to outsell previous Call of Duty games but that didn’t stop it to remain at the top of the UK charts during the second week.
Following the first week, sales of Black Ops 2 have actually seen to an increase of 15% when compared with Modern Warfare 3. Surprisingly Black Ops 2 also sold better than the new Hitman entry. Hitman: Absolution would have wanted to see better numbers.
Regarding the rest of the top 10 games on the list, Fifa 13 has taken the third position with sales that are still going strong, Assassin’s Creed 3 and Halo 4 follow closely behind whose sales actually have dropped 26%. The reason is probably due to the fact that a large amount of players picked up their copy during the launch week. The games were highly anticipated for some time now.
PlayStation All Stars just manages to include itself in the top 40 chart. Sitting at 38, Sony’s hopeful equivalent to Smash Bros. has been smashed.
