Ever since its release last month, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation’s players have been suffering from an annoying bug. The bug messes around with the save file of the game causing the player to get stuck in the Animus’ interactive loading screen. Players can still run around and move the game’s playable character, Aveline de Grandpré, but the game will never load into the game world.
Currently, the only known way to deal with this issue is to delete your save file and start from the scratch again. However, as you can imagine for most of the gamers out there this bug is a deal breaker.
Ubisoft has finally decided to face this matter and have issued the following statement regarding this matter:
Sorry for the problems you are having. Please do contact Ubisoft support directly — they can help solve the issue — or forward details to the team working on it!
Our team is in the process of finalizing the first patch for ‘Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. This will address the save game corruption issue that you asked about . We’ll have a better idea on the timing of the patch soon
