Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Also Coming to Vita

Sony have announced that anyone who buys Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault on PlayStation 3 will also receive a PS Vita copy with cross-save and cross-play features.

Whilst the PS3 version is due out next week on November 27, the Vita version has been delayed until January despite it’s official Cross-Buy status. The reason for the delay hasn’t been given, but it’s confirmed that the PS3 version is still on-track despite whatever issues may be happening with the Vita version.

In a bit of good news however, the first piece of DLC, the Mini-Boss Skin Pack, is available for free to everyone that buys the PS3 version. This DLC pack includes skins for three bosses from throughout the Ratchet & Clank series. It’s assumed that this DLC is paying homage to the full series considering that Full Frontal Assault is part of the 10th anniversary celebration.

The game will cost $19.99 when it launches next week on November 27. Regardless of whether you purchase the retail or downloadable version, you will still receive the Vita version for free when it releases in January.
