Tom Hardy Signs Up As Sam Fisher In New Splinter Cell Movie

Ubisoft Motion Pictures is getting ready to bring another of their franchise to the big screen. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie was already announced last month which stars Michael Fassbender.

The next in line is a new Splinter Cell movie and Tom Hardy has been signed up to be its main star as none other than Sam Fisher himself.

Tom Hardy is best known for his amazing roles in Inception, and of course as ‘Bane’ in The Dark Knight Rises. It will be interesting to see him take on such a complex role.

As of yet shooting has not started for the film and Ubisoft is conducting talks with Paramount and Warner Bros. The script will be written by Eric Warren Singer.

CEO of Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Jean-Julien Baronnet was excited on having Tom Hardy on board.

His involvement in the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell movie is exciting news for movie and videogame fans alike.

Meanwhile, Eric Singer is one of the most talented writers of the moment, and … we’re confident he’ll bring a fresh approach and create a thrilling story … while still respecting all the codes and traditions of the franchise that are so important to fans.
