NVIDIA has released new beta drivers for their GTX series which are loaded to enhance performance of major games released this year.
The new GeForce 310.54 beta drivers are now available for download here and will show “performance improvements of up to 26% compared to your current driver.”
The list of games that will be affected by this driver is long that also includes the just released Assassin’s Creed 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Some of the other major titles mentioned are Borderlands 2, Dragon Age 2, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, The Witcher 2, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and Battlefield 3.
The official NVIDIA post also mentions improved anti-aliasing and a new super-sampling feature for better image quality.
Today’s driver also adds a new and improved version of TXAA anti-aliasing to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin’s Creed III, allowing GTX 600 Series users to maximize image quality and eliminate unsightly temporal aliasing in two of the year’s most popular games. Furthermore, there’s a handy new Sparse Grid Supersampling feature for all GeForce GTX users that improves image quality when using the advanced anti-aliasing technique, and for SLI users there are new Hawken, Hitman: Absolution, Natural Selection 2 and Primal Carnage profiles.
