For those of you interested in story and gameplay, then there’s a lot in this trailer for you. Obvious story elements aside, if you take a closer look at Dante throughout the video then you might catch him pulling off some rather snazzy combat techniques.
There’s lots of cancels and evades thrown in for good measure, allowing Dante to be a combat monster despite not having end-game weaponry. I think of particular note is the mid-combo weapon switch towards the two minute mark.
Warning – may contain spoilers.
What do you think? Is the new Dante’s mysterious past compelling enough to have you hooked yet?
