Many fans put aside the title shortly after its launch due to frame-rate and save system issues, where the game wouldn’t auto-save and players couldn’t rename a file. The patch looks to fix that improving the frame-rate and fixing the games’ save system.
Additionally, the patch will also squash some bugs, which were causing issues in some side quests.
Players can start their game now to download the patch.
Silent Hill: Downpour was released earlier this year on March 13 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game didn’t meet the standards fans were hoping to see, and hence it got just an average welcome.
