First up we have Metro: Last Light and Company of Heroes 2, each a highly anticipated sequel that were looking to be released in the early stages of 2013, however they have each been pushed back to March 2013.
The madcap South Park: Stick of Truth has been delayed as well. Originally slated for March 2013, but it’s been pushed back to early fiscal year 2014, so translated into real-world dates; We’re looking at April 2013 at the earliest, with the possibility of later.
Jason Rubin, President of THQ, has come forward explaining these delays, simply citing that the titles need just a bit more work. THQ feel that they need to devote a few extra weeks to putting that last bit of polish on each of these titles. Hopefully this also means that the releases won’t be riddled with bugs, as certain games are in those early days.
