Hitman: Absolution Cinematic Trailer Shows Off Non-Game Footage

The entire video game community learned a few months ago that Agent 47 was about as badass as badass gets, as he inflicted multiple head shots and broken noses on a group of women dressed as confusingly sexy nuns.

If you remember, that trailer caused quite the uproar among the feminist and gaming communities. IO Interactive’s new trailer for Hitman: Absolution doesn’t feature the same kind of misogynistic violence, but it does still confirm that, yes, Agent 47 can kick some ass.

The trailer shows us absolutely no gameplay footage, confirming that it’s not just Final Fantasy trailers anymore, and blares the sounds of Kavinsky’s “Roadgame,” a track from the international artist’s upcoming album.

Check out the trailer below to get another glimpse of Agent 47 doing some very assassin-y things to the sounds of Kavinsky.

Hitman: Absolution comes out for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 20th.
