Silent Hill: Downpour Xbox 360 Patch Fixes Frame Rate

Konami has released a patch for Silent Hill: Downpour on the Xbox 360. The new update fixes some major issues with that game’s save system and frame rate.

Many users had previously reported facing problems with the game’s performance during play, mainly stuttering and frame skipping. Additionally according to Konami the update also fixes some “bugs in ‘Homeless’ side quest/mission”, along with “several other performance enhancements/bug fixes”.

The same patch will be released on the PS3 in the next couple of weeks. In the meanwhile Xbox 360 users can pop in the game and download the update now.

Aside the patch fixing, Konami confirmed a digital release of the full game on Xbox 360 through Games on Demand on October 30 for $39.99.
