Following the bad news that the Wii U version of Black Ops II may not be supporting the DLC plan for the title, we now find out that when the game launches on the Wii U it won’t be supporting the Call of Duty Elite program either.
It’s not looking good for the Wii U, with Activision doubting the console left, right and centre when it comes to their precious nest-egg, Black Ops II. An Activision spokesperson recently spoke with Kotaku on the matter.
“We are currently evaluating options for Call of Duty Elite to support Nintendo’s Wii U game system, however Call of Duty Elite for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will not support this platform when the game launches on November 13.”
Activision are still looking into getting the DLC content onto the Wii U at all, on top of all of this. Things aren’t looking too good for the hardcore market that the Wii U is trying to attract.
