Far Cry 3 Goes Minecraft With A New Texture Pack

By   /   Oct 16, 2012

Ubisoft recently announced a new, free texture pack for Minecraft. This new texture patch allows players to play Minecraft, through the insanity that is FarCry 3.

Featuring terrain, locations, tools, weapons, environments and characters from the FarCry 3 game, this texture patch is nothing short of astounding. The fact that it’s all free, simply leaves me awestruck.

Not only will players be able to see Minecraf style Vaas, Jason and Citra, they’ll also be able to uncover about 50 easter eggs. These easter eggs (like most easter eggs) will be hidden throughout the area.

Major props to Michael Lambert, creator of Newcraft City, and artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt, for their masterful work on this texture pack. You can get this pack at the official FarCry website on October 26. Though, you can only pick it up for the PC.
