Earlier this week EA had announced their plans for the first title update for FIFA 13. Focusing on fixing a number of connectivity and stability issues, the update was initially planned to be released on the consoles this weekend.
EA Sports has now confirmed that they will be pushing the release date a bit back following discovery of a “knock-on issue”.
The firm apologized on Twitter but did not announce a new release date for the update.
We apologize for a delay in the FIFA 13 Title Update. A knock-on issue was detected in the patch planned for this weekend so it was held.
We’re working with our partners to establish a new schedule for the update and we will provide information as soon as it becomes available.
