New exclusive content included the A Dangerous Secret mission for the singleplayer mode, with mystery and intrigue on the high seas. Alongside that, and remaining within the nautical theme, is the exclusive Pirate’s Flintlock, an upgrade to the regular flintlock weapon.
This Special Edition is UK exclusive as it currently stands, which is great for UK gamers, but not so great for the rest of the world. It presents a cheaper opportunity to get at the exclusive content rather than forking out all the extra cash for the Freedom Edition or the Join Or Die edition, which both come with a host of physical goodies as well as some of their own exclusive content.
Assassin’s Creed III will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 from October 30, and PC from November 23.
