The multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor: Warfighter was released last Friday and with it EA announced teaming up with Linkin Park to bring fans a surprise. Linkin Park would premiere their new music video for ‘Castle of Glass’ before hand if the multiplayer beta for Warfighter was downloaded 3 million times.
Today EA has released the video, hence confirming their war title of reaching that milestone. This is the second time that developers Danger Close have teamed up with the renowned music band.
You can check out the video below which shows a vicious circle of war, loss of lives and misery. Inspired by true events the video seeks to depict the accurate nature of war. Is this going too far or not? The video has been met with both sides, many of which complain of the video being pro-war.
The music video was not the only incentive for downloading the beta. All those who participate will be given 60 minutes Double XP boost; which they can cash in when the full game launches on October 23.
