The rumor mills steadily churn when it comes to videogames making the jump from digital to television or film, but it looks like at least one videogame property is firmly cemented for the small screen, Battlefield: Bad Company.
Deadline charges Fox with producing the Bad Company television series, which will be an action-comedy run for an hour. The characters are based from the game, with the show’s premise being that they “exit military life and enter the private sector.
But trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks.”
Writtern by John Eisendrath, Bad Company will be produced by the minds behind Alias and Adam Sandler’s production team, Happy Madison.
