Borderlands 2: Season Pass Will Not Cover All DLC

By   /   Sep 24, 2012

The Season Pass for Borderlands 2 was previously announced to let players enjoy access to the first four planned DLC packs for just $30. However, Gearbox has now revealed that the Season Pass will not cover all of the downloadable content.

During a Q&A session with readers on Kotaku, Randy Pitchford from Gearbox said:

We will have other, non-season-pass related downloadable content (DLC). The additional character, Mechromancer, is one kind of example.

Going back we can see that Gearbox clearly mentioned that only the first four DLC packs will be included in the Season Pass. One would naturally assume that the Season Pass meant every future expansion pack.

Borderlands 2 is available now for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The must anticipated Mechromancer DLC for the game will be released on October 16.
