If someone is planning to do something good, one should join hands and support the initiative. No, I am not going to teach you a morality lesson here but throw light on something that being a true gamer, may draw your attention.
A few days back, there was a mysterious countdown set on Obsidian’s official website. Now that count-down is replaced by an announcement of a Kickstarter project that will remind you of Golden Age of PC RPGs. They are calling it the ‘Project Eternity’. Here is what the developer has to say about the game:
Project Eternity aims to recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPGs that we enjoyed making – and playing. At Obsidian, we have the people responsible for many of those classic games and we want to bring those games back… and that’s why we’re here – we need your help to make it a reality
As it’s an independent project, Obsidian needs your help funding this project through Kickstarter.
Obsidian is asking for $1. 1M for the project which according to Kickstarter’s conditions, should be raised by October 16. The initial appeal (in the form of a video) launched by the developer has received a promising response but there is still a long way to go.
I will recommend you to watch the video and if you understand the concept behind the game, head over to Kickstarter and play your part by backing this project.
