Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Trailer Showcases Playable Ayane

Ninja Gaiden 3

Wii U is getting an updated version of Ninja Gaiden 3, that is seemingly exclusive to Nintendo, seeing as how they’re publishing it.

In this polished version of the game, dismemberment will return along with a lot more, varied enemies; Which was a huge complaint among many reviewers and players. Along with these features that really should have been in the default version of the game, Razor’s Edge will also feature new weapons.

If those new features weren’t enticing enough, then playing as Ayane should (hopefully) change your mind. I mean, who doesn’t want to throw kunais, with cherry blossoms attached to them, at ninjas? Oh, did I mention that said kunais are also explosive?

Ayane will have her own exclusive missions, while also featuring the option to play through every level in the game as her. The final, and perhaps best feature of Razor’s Edge, is the new co-op mode.

My only problem with this game, is that it’s exclusive to Wii U. I fear a move like this will upset a lot of PS3 and 360 users. A lot, if not all of this content, really should have been in Ninja Gaiden 3 to begin with.
