Blizzard has released some new information surrounding some of the changes headed to Diablo 3 in the next patch. The biggest change is probably the advent of Uber Bosses in the new Infernal Machine event. Not much is known about them, other than they’re bad ass and will (probably) require team work to take down.
A much more generalized change, that I think is one of the best so far, is that they’re going to change defensive skills.
Blizzards hope is that, in conjunction with further changes to decreasing the amount of damage players take, with some modified defensive abilities, that players will take fewer of them. Less defensive abilities on your bar, opens up players to take more of the “fun” abilities into combat.
Abilities that were often neglected, due to the often times necessity of loading your skill set out with the most optimal abilities.
An old Diablo 2 command is coming to Diablo 3. Similar to how “Players 8” worked in Diablo 2, individuals can more custom tailor their fighting experience, by altering the power level of the monsters they encounter.
