Earlier today, Metal Gear developer Kojima Productions said, once and for all, that the Xbox 360 version of Revengeance would not be getting an Xbox 360 release in Japan with the group giving a vague explanation of “various reasons”. This isn’t much of a surprise, however, as Microsoft’s console has had a lot of trouble getting off the ground in in the country.
Even with this, not so shocking, bit of news it’s safe to say that it won’t impact the games sales all that bad. Konami also stated that the game will still be released as normal next February and everything else is still on schedule.
Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance is being developed by Platinum Games, the studio behind other big hits like Bayonetta, Vanquish and MadWorld.
