Players Protest City of Heroes Closure

In a huge player-coordinated event, enough people have gotten together on City of Heroes to protest the closure of the studio and servers.

In response to the recent announcement that City of Heroes and the studio would be closing their doors, players have gathered online to perform a live protest; all in-game. It’s rare that you’ll see such a large player-driven event like this, so if you’ve got a City of Heroes account, I suggest checking it out whilst you still can.

As for the protest itself: Hundreds of players have all gathered in Atlas Park in-game to show their disapproval for the unfortunate closure. The staggeringly high number of players is reportedly large enough to actually crash game servers, so hopefully this protest won’t bring about an accidental early end for City of Heroes.
