Players are joining Guild Wars 2 at a massive rate. With the high amount of players came also an overwhelming amount of transactions at the trading posts. These large amount of transactions resulted in problems for the economy of the trading post.
ArenaNet has officially announced today that the issues with the trading posts have been rectified and they are now open to all players worldwide.
An official statement on The Guild Wars 2 wiki by ArenaNet explained its move to fixing the problem:
We’ve been expanding the Trading Post’s capacity to handle the huge volume of requested trades. After our test yesterday, we’ve been working to resolve some issues reported by players.
With the issue of the trading posts out of the way, ArenaNet is now once again looking to fix the group splitting problems.
Guild Wars 2 released last month for the PC and is one of the most highly anticipated games of this year. So far it has lived up to it’s hype.
