In this latest add-on, you’ll get to do something that’s never been done in The Elder Scrolls series before; purchasing land and building your own home.
Buying property has been a part of The Elder Scrolls games for some time now, but this is the first time you’ll get to fully customise that space as you see fit.
Your new abodes can be furnished with a variety of different rooms and objects, including a home alchemy lab, a herb garden and your very own armoury. If that sounds boring, then you can also hire an in-game steward to do the job for you.
On top of that, you can get that homely feel by adopting children and starting your very own family. There’s a new adoption system built into the game, so you can raise a child and protect them from the various dangers that you’ve been adventuring through.
It’s not all fun and games though; you’ll need to protect your home and family from a variety of horrible creatures.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on this content, then you’d best have an Xbox. The DLC is going to be Xbox exclusive for at least a month, as per the agreement between Microsoft and Bethesda.
PC and PS3 players can expect to get the content from a month or so afterwards. This content pack is going to be pretty cheap though! Touted at just $5 (Or £3ish), this is a pretty cheap add-on for one of the most popular games of 2011.
