Resident Evil 6: An Overview On Its Skill System
For those who won’t know, Resident Evil 6 will have it’s very own skill system. First thing to note is that changing skill sets will not pause the game. In other words you’ll still be exposed to the undead, so it’s better to find some cover if you want to switch skills. Also once you have unlocked a specific skill, it will be available to everyone. It doesn’t matter if Jake is 50 miles away from Leon, both will be able to use the unlocked skill.
That said, players can get up to eight skills in the game but at the beginning they can only equip one set of skills.
Some of the skills available in the game that we know off are Fire Arm, Defense, Critical Rate, Concentrate, Steady Aim, Penetration, J’avo Killer, Battle Attack, Hand Gun Master and Magnum Master. Most of these skills can be leveled up to be more efficient and powerful.
Resident Evil 6 releases on October 2, 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version will follow on a later date in December. The game will also feature a split-screen co-op.
