Borderlands 2: The Original Soundtrack Is Nothing Short of Amazing

The team behind the Soundtrack for Borderlands 2 include many big names. Those into video game music will recognize them right away. This epic team has come up with nothing short of amazing.

The original soundtrack for the game will feature 23 tracks composed by Jesper Kyd, Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan. Raison Varner from Gearbox has included some additional music as well.

Jesper Kyd has previously been awarded with GameSpot’s 2003 ‘Soundtrack of The Year with Freedom Fighters. His other works include Assassin’s Creed, Hitman and the recent Darksiders 2.

Dikiciyan and Velasco have been collaborating since the 2006 release of Splinter Cell: Double Agent and have Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Hellgate: London, Prototype, Darksiders, Mass Effect 3 and many others to their credit.

The Borderlands 2 soundtrack is available for preorder now at Amazon and is scheduled for release on September 18, the same day that Borderlands 2 itself hits the shelves.
