Treyarch promised the COD fans of an “epic” unveiling of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer portion at Gamescom and they did not disappoint. It seems like developers Treyarch is firmly behind the idea of inducing the e-sports phenomena into the COD multiplayer experience. Call Of Duty did revolutionize online aspect of console gaming in 2007 with Modern Warfare, and now they are poised to do it all over again.
Treyarch are all set to introduce a new features of “Codcasting”. These new features include
- League Play
- Live Streaming
League play basically is a new matchmaking system that makes matches based on your skill level bringing you evenly matched players to play with. In relation to the live streaming feature, it has been noted that this feature will be available in League Play, allowing users to broadcast their gameplay to the Internet and even supports various USB cameras so players can give you a glimpse into their living rooms.
Shoutcasting feature will allow the gamers to commentate on the matches being streamed live on the internet. It is a safe bet to assume that most of the commentary will be on the funnier and slangier side of things.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 drops in stores on November 13 2012.
