If you’ve been waiting to play Mass Effect 3 then August 28th may just be the best possible time to start.

A post on BioWare’s blog confirmed that a DLC titled Leviathan is going to be released on August 28 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

For those familiar with the game already, you’ll be interested to learn that the focus of the DLC will be to find out more of how the Reapers fit into the Mass Effect universe while also learning about a rogue Reaper by the name of Leviathan.

It will also open up new star systems and allow access to new weapons as well as possibly opening up new dialouge options during the Extended Cut ending of the game, which was released back in June.

The new content will cost $9.99 on PC or PS3 or 800 MS points on Xbox 360.
