PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale – How Kratos and Radec Play Out

There aren’t many gamers who wouldn’t be up for experiencing some of the finest and most famous heroes (and villains) of PlayStation fighting each other just for our entertainment.

This mouth-watering concept is being brought to life in the form of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the ultimate crossover multiplayer fighting game being developed by SuperBot Entertainment.

But the folks are doing it alone – they’ve got publisher Sony Entertainment collaborating with them to make each and every included character as awesome as they should be.

Writing on the official PlayStation Blog, lead designer Paul Edwards talked about how his team and he managed to incorporate two of the most famous PlayStation personalities ever, Kratos (God of War games) and Radec (Killzone games) into the game.

The first thing that would come to any GoW fan’s mind is how SuperBot managed to feature a god-slaying ruthless warrior into the game without tilting the balance by an insane magnitude.

Well, if you wish to see how they managed this seemingly improbable task, here’s an interview video conducted by Sony Entertainment that talks Kratos:

And yes, Kratos’s still got his bad-ass weapons, though this time he’ll be slaying more than just gods, and one of them will be none other than Radec.

Colonel Radec in Killzone 2 was considered as one of the toughest bosses of all time (particularly on Elite difficutly). He’s fully featured as a selectable in the All-Stars Battle, and true to his fame, Radec’s a deadly long-ranged character. More on him in this following video:

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in late October this year.
