It’s been quite some time since Diblo 3 got released, but the stream of patches and fixes hasn’t been halted yet. The latest fix, however, will address the common latency and so-called Rubberbanding issues. By Rubberbanding, we mean the dyssynchronization between the actual place of the character and where it seems visible which is worsened if the latency is high.
The list of bug fixes is as follows:
- Fixed several cases of “rubberbanding” that could sometimes occur while playing under extremely high latency, when a character changed direction or movement speed, or when a character used certain movement-based abilities (like Tempest Rush or Whirlwind)
- Fixed several game and service crashes.
It’s good to see that Blizzard is eager to resolve even the minor of the issues so that the community gets the best out of what they have paid for.
Games as big as Diablo need a constant support, and the developer has done just that to keep the players away from any kind of annoyance.
