Modern Warfare 3: August DLC Features Playable Helicopter

Upcoming contents for Modern Warfare 3 have already been leaked over the net for some time now. Here’s an official confirmation about the content drop for this month.

Modern Warfare will receive three new updates in this month of August. First two are the Spec Ops missions (Light Em Up and Special Delivery), where as the third is yet to be revealed by the developers.

Light Em Up is going to feature a fully operable helicopter tagged as the Little Bird. You’ll be assigned a rescue mission and told to take down an Eastern European stronghold. The Little Bird can blind enemies with a searchlight to protect your partner, or lay down some havoc with a grenade launcher and assault rifle.

You’ll be on another rescue mission in the second Specs Ops Mission: Special Delivery. This time you’ll be at a Chinese hydroelectric dam. One player can use the Osprey Gunner killstreak for air support and drop care packages, while the other searches for the hostage.

This new content will land for the Elite members on the Xbox 360 within a few weeks. Like before the PS3 players will have to wait it out until their turn comes, which will probably be in September. PC players will have to see to an even longer wait time.
