New Super Mario Bros. 2 Sells More than 400,000 Units in First Two Days

It seems Nintendo has hit gold yet again as the company’s 3DS XL and New Super Mario Bros. 2 is selling like gangbusters in Japan.

According to Famitsu,  Nintendo has managed to sell 200,000 3DS XL units within its first two days in Japan. While that’s impressive enough within itself, the report also states that Nintendo’s new Mario game — New Super Mario Bros. 2 — has managed to sell 430,00 units in also the same time span.

The figures come with Nintendo’s announcement that it has sold more than 19 million 3DS system into retail globally.

I hate to say it, but Mario and the 3DS XL really does print money, no?
