While the first-ever expansion has already been released for Microsoft’s platform, PC and PS3 owners have yet to get a taste of Dawnguard’s vampire-based action.
In what could be considered bad news, Pete Hines, Bethesda’s marketing chief, has taken to twitter to answer concerns regarding the DLC.
We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you.
Hines is referring to players’ concern that Dawnguard should be out already on the other platforms since it’s way past the Xbox 360’s supposed time-exclusivity.
The marketing chief followed that up with, “I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.”
So, there you go, Skyrim fans. If you want to play Dawnguard now, better get it on the 360. If not, you’ll have to wait for a little bit more to get your vampire fix.
