Is this the next step in motion controlling? Creators of The Leap claim that their new motion controller is more accurate than a mouse, is as reliable as a keyboard and more sensitive than a touchscreen.
The Leap comes in the form of a simple USB device shaped like a large biscuit. Sitting on a desk in front of you it captures the movements of your hands to perfection. You don’t have to take our word for it, for you can see for yourself in the video below.
The demonstrations in the video seem pretty impressive. In one part you can see him playing Angry Birds with a pair of chopsticks while in another he is shooting away in Half-Life 2.
The Leap is set to be released late December and is now available for pre-orders at a price of $70.
